Elton JOHN revient avec la suite de Captain Fantastic

Elton John va sortir la suite de son fameux « Captain Fantastic » sorti dans les années 70. Ce nouvel opus sortira à la fin de l’été. Le nouvel album s’intitulera « The Captain and the Kid ». Sa date de sortie a été fixée au 18 septembre prochain chez Island. Il s’agit de la suite de « Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy » qui était sorti en 1975.

C’est un retour aux sources pour l’artiste après des décennies tout aussi sirupeuses qu’inutiles. Elton John le dévoilera en avant-première lors d’un concert intime au Rose Hall de New York. Ce sera pour le 6 septembre prochain.

Le premier single extrait du nouvel album sera « The Bridge ». Il sera disponible via le iTunes Music Store de Apple dès ce 22 août.
