Tribute à Bruce SPRINGSTEEN
Une série d’artistes ont participé à un tribute à Bruce Springsteen dont les bénéfices iront à la Parkinson’s Disease Foundation et au fond Kristen Ann Carr qui s’occupe de la recherche et du traîtement du sarcome. L’album sera un double CD. Il s’intitule « Light of Day: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen » et vient de sortir en Espagne et donc sans doute sous peu dans le reste de l’Europe.
Parmi les artistes présents, on trouve Elvis Costello, Nils Lofgren, Elliott Murphy, Joe Ely, Graham Parker, Pete Yorn et Billy Bragg.

La version américaine, qui sortira au mois d’août, ne comprendra pas la reprise de « Sinoloa Cowboys », extraite de l’album « The Ghost of Tom Joad » sorti en 1995, par les Cracker. En lieu et place, Johnny Hickman, guitariste des Cracker, reprend « Candy’s Room » sous le nom Crazysloth.
